Two for the road!

Hi everyone!
I have two cards to share with you today.
I promised myself I would make a card for all my family and friends
this year as usually, I am very slack!
I made this pretty floral card for my niece using soft
pastel colours.
I've kept the background simple and let the
embellishments do the talking!

Trinkets used:
* Kanzashi blooms
* Resin roses
* NEW - pearl flower centres mixed colours.
For my next card, I wanted to get my hands dirty.
This one was made for my Mother In Law - a card maker herself
so the pressure was on!
I've used a mixed media background starting with a coat of gesso.

I've coloured the layer of gesso with some gelatos then used a Kaszazz mask
to add a layer of brickwork patterns using Glimmermist. The splatters are also
Tattered Angel's Glimmermist.

Trinkets used:
* Manor House Creations flowers
* Mixed media metal - small flowers
* Mixed media metal - ornate drop
* Vintage rose cabochon
* Resin cameo
* Pearls

I hope you tune in to the blog this April!
There is a lot in store including two guest designers, a fabulous
sponsorship with one of my fave challenge blogs as
well as lots of tips and techniques on how to get
more out of your little trinkets!
