I rubbed some colour from the gelatos onto the resist paper before using a wet paintbrush to wash across the page.
Next I applied some texture paste that I coloured with the Dylusions Ink, over the layering stencil. The stamp from Kaisercraft was then stamped randomly around the edge of the page with some Staz-On ink.
I printed my list onto photographic paper before threading the twine and cutting it in a flag shape.
The fabulous Resin Bright Dots were perfect centres for my flowers.

I love wedding layouts, cards and anything in
between! Of course, there is something extra special
when capturing these moments and here, Sandra has
scrapped a very special day to perfection!
Keeping the embellishments to a minimum is a great
way to scrap with busy patterns.
I loved the Glass Pebble and used it to magnify the ‘holding of hands’ at the wedding of some very close friends and I couldn’t resist the little hearts flowing across the page.

What a beautiful display of colour!
Sandra has really nailed the oriental theme on the head - and she
has used some embellishments I wouldn't have thought
of using for this theme!
One of the many reasons why I love it when you get to play
with The Trinket Track goodies - fresh and new ideas!
Sandra has used some Stazon ink to give
the wooden frame some depth.

My name is Sandra Scott and I’m married to a wonderful man who supports my creative hobby. Between us we have four adult children and six grandchildren.
I’ve been scrapbooking for about eight years but I’ve always had some sort of craft ranging from sewing, decoupage, OTP projects, knitting and attempts at painting.
I can’t say I have a distinct style because I really like experimenting and being inspired by others. I would say my scrapbooking is quite eclectic because some days I love clean and simple pages and others I love to get grungy or really girly it just depends on the task at hand.
At the moment I love experimenting with mixed media techniques.

Yep, let me begin by saying I will be playing
catch up this weekend. I have a couple
of projects to share with you, the first being
my take on one of Page Drafts sketches.
You can win an amazing stash for yourself just by playing along!
I chose one of the sketches and had a play - even though I can't enter
the comp! How can I resist one of Em's fabulous sketches?!
I've played with one of 7 Dots Studios collections - this
is growing into one of my fave design companies. I just
love their papers!
I've used a Trinket Track Meadow Bloom here - I have to say, it is
getting easier and easier to use flowers on my layouts!
I used to be terrified of them but the more I play, the more I love them!
I specially love the Meadow Blooms with their foam and stamen centres!
I have also used some Craft wire to bead my own stems
and used this beautiful Manor House Creations flower to
finish my project off! Another one of my
fave design companies out there!
Have you played along with Page Drafts yet?
What are you waiting for???

There have been a lot of questions whether or not I will
run challenges on the blog - right now, I have no
plans to run any challenges. As much as I would love to
my life is pretty hectic right now and I don't feel I can commit 100%
to monthly challenges. However, it is something I will
consider later on in 2014.
For now, simply enjoy but if you do create something with the sketch
of course, I would love to see it and your work can
be featured on this blog as well as the The Trinket Track
Tune in next week to see how I have interpreted the sketch!
